• Non-Fiction: Research and write about the history and science of navigation, including the evolution of compasses and their crucial role in exploration and human advancement.
• Creative Non-Fiction: Compose a fictional memoir from the perspective of a seasoned traveller whose compass served as a guide not only through physical landscapes but also through personal journeys of self-discovery.
• Fiction: In a world where the magnetic poles have shifted, a group of survivors must rely on an ancient, non-magnetic compass to navigate a perilous wasteland and seek the mythical “true north.”
